PERIMETER BOARD ADHESIVE
PERIMETER BOARD ADHESIVE is a foaming, one-component construction adhesive for the bonding of polystyrene rigid foam boards. Perimeter insulation is a special insulation of polystyrene foam boards, which can be mounted both below the base plate as well as on the basement outer wall. Therefore, a good perimeter insulation enables high energy savings. The PERIMETER BOARD ADHESIVE has also been developed for filling joints between perimeter insulation boards.
PERIMETER BOARD ADHESIVE sticks very well to concrete, bitumen membranes and cold bituminous thick coatings as well as to all common building materials, except polyethylene, silicone, oils and fats, mould release agents or the like. For the closest possible contact between the insulation boards and the building structure, the PERIMETER BOARD ADHESIVE has been developed to be only slightly expanding. It should be processed at temperatures between 0°C and +25°C. The hardened adhesive is rot-proof, moisture-resistant and temperature-resistant from -40 °C to + 100 °C. It is resistant to ageing, but not resistant to UV radiation.
