K-D-F® KLEBEN-DICHTEN-FUGEN

The novel and versatile hybrid adhesive from Pichler Chemie is used for bonding, sealing and jointing of elastic and vibration-strong compounds of various materials, such as metals, wood-based materials, thermoset and thermoplastic sheets, ceramics and glass. Available in 6 different colours, K-D-F ®
can be pickled, painted and sanded in the hardened state. Not only is the colour palette of the adhesive from Pichler Chemie versatile, but also its different fields of application. K-D-F ® can be used on dry and wet surfaces as well as under water and is still UV-stable and weather-resistant with an adhesive force of up to 27kg /cm2.

More than just an adhesive

Due to the high range of adhesion, the adhesive that can be sanded and painted is used not only for gluing but also for sealing and jointing in vehicle manufacturers and in vehicle construction. Rivets and screws are from yesterday, today’s latest fashion is gluing and grouting according to cutting-edge standards. Due to its resistance to salt and chlorine waters, K-D-F ® is therefore also ideal for boat building and for the use in swimming pools. Especially in this area durable, elastic and, above all, vibration-resisting connections between different materials have to be created, e.g. from teak to plastic, just to name a few examples. For elastic joints in different stone surfaces such as marble, granite, terracotta and much more, K-D-F ® from Pichler Chemie is also the best choice. It not only guarantees the absence migratory staining along the joint edges, but on top of everything, the joint is also dirt-repellent. In addition, K-D-F ® has a resistance to light acids and alkalis.

Food-safe tested adhesive

Even in the food industry, you will not get along without gluing, sealing and grouting. However, no adhesive and sealant should be used, especially in this extremely sensitive sector. K-D-F ® can be used in all food showcases, bakery machines as well as in the home, for example kitchen countertops, for grouting, sealing and gluing according to strict criteria and certified “food safe”.
